Salary: $15.53 per hour plus $4.48 per hour in fringe benefits.
Seasonal position based at FE Warren Air Force Base.
In this position, you will perform activities involved with the mixing, spraying, and storing of herbicides used to control undesirable weeds on FE Warren Air Force Base. Herbicide Sprayers may be asked to perform other duties as assigned in order to meet contractual and scheduling needs. Must be willing to serve as a back up to the grounds crew.
Education/Experience:
Two years experience with herbicides and have a current, WDA-issued herbicide license in Commercial CORE and ornamental weeds (Categories 903 A & C). Or be able to obtain a license.
Required to have basic computer and data-entry skills but prefer experience using Word, Excel.
Experience with operation and safety of pesticide application equipment utilized in the landscape industry.
You must also have empathy for those with disabilities.
Compensation & Benefits
This is an hourly paid position and pay is issued every two weeks. As required by the Service Contract Act, Skils'kin pays an additional fringe benefit amount of $4.48 per hour toward the employee's health and welfare benefits which includes options for medical, dental, life insurance, and 401K. Employees also earn paid time off after one year.

Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age and have a safe driving record determined by Skils'kin's vehicle insurance carrier. Some positions may require specific driving responsibilities for which applicants must be 21 years of age or older. .
Must be able to obtain a Federal Contractors Badge upon employment.
Must be available to work primarily M-F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Seasonal position - Full-time - 35 to 40 hours/week). Scheduled shifts and hours are subject change depending on weather and/or contractual needs.
Preference will be given to those with documented disabilities.
Must have general knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment, and be willing to serve as a back up to the grounds crew.
