Nelcon Inc., established in 1981, is seeking a qualified, skilled and experienced Grade Setter. Minimum of 2 yrs but would prefer 5yrs experience. Must know how to read plans, stake from the plans, and be familiar with Trimble survey measurement instrumentation including levels, GPS equipment, data collectors and rovers.
RESPONSIBILITES
Stakes locations, surveys section corners, establishes section corners, and stakes roads which may include slope staking.
Topographic surveys and x-sectioning
Performs mathematical calculations, field checking, and field data
Takes accurate and clear notes and performs note reduction
Reads and understands plans and specifications
Responsible for Quality Control and performance of all work
Responsible for the maintenance of all Company equipment
