Title:Product Assurance Engineer
Seeking a mid to senior level Manufacturing/Quality Engineer to support weapon system manufacturing quality and reliability. The individual will participate in specification development and review, scope of work development, quality audits, physical quality audits, drawing reviews, test planning including reliability test planning, test witnessing, contract deliverables, and engineering change proposal review. Travel is required.MS Office skills a must, excellent communications skills, both oral and written required, including customer presentations. The individual must be inquisitive, self-starting, driven, and detail oriented.Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance which requires US citizenship. A candidate with an active secret clearance is preferred.BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent and a minimum of 10-15 years’ related experienceExperience with U.S. Army or other DoD programs a plus. Desired experience in electronics engineering and electronics manufacturing processes, production drawings desired. The individual should be detail oriented and fact driven. The individual must be familiar with requirements verification techniques, their tradeoffs, and criticality. The individual should understand how verification evolves with system development and the give and take with qualification and re-qualification as the design responds to test results. Experience with MS Access also desired. DoD, Quality or Product Assurance experience: Quality engineering, quality management, reliability engineering, quality auditing, ISO9001, AS9102, AS9104, first article testing, or reliability experience a plus. The applicant should also be familiar with military standards such as, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, Mil-STD-810, other EMI/EMC, system safety, explosive safety, HERO, HERF, HERP
