Find your future with us.The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Employee Development Specialist to join their Product System Training (PST) organization in Huntsville, Alabama.The qualified specialist will be a team player that provides training covering a broad range of technical instructor led initial trainings and re-certifications currently supporting Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems for the PAC-3, Space Launch System (SLS), Center of Excellence, Ground Missile Defense, and multiple military and commercial derivatives programs for FAB.Initial Training and Recertification will include, but is not limited to:

Assy Blueprint Familiarization
Bond and Ground (various)
MESci
Crimping and Connector Assembly
Engaging/Disengaging
Manufacturing Measuring Tools

Moisture Sensitive Device Awareness
Safety Device Installation
Sealing (various)
Staking
Pressure System Safety
Lock out tag out
Core Certified Mixing
Fiber Optics
Manufacturing Documents and Processes
Position Responsibilities:
Provide industrial skills guided practice or bench activities
Cross train other instructors
Support skill elevation activities
Prepare training areas to be teach ready
Ensure classrooms and other facilities are stocked with materials and supplies
Use My Learning to verify students have the required prerequisites prior to attending training
Coordinate with Boeing to verify students have required applications and qualifications applicable prior to training (Redars, PSDS, APDM, MES, medicals, etc.)
Identify and notify course owner of errors in course or testing materials
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of root cause analysis, corrective action, and training related audit activities
Attend operations program meetings as directed by PST Management
5S (Sorting, Simplifying, Sweeping, Standardizing, Self-Discipline) to improve operational efficiency
Facilitate kitting
Support Operations as a SME with SOJT (Structured on the Job Training) and consulting
Prepare pre-class tasks (obtain courseware, materials, exams, set-up, etc.)
Perform post class cleaning to restore training area to its original “teach ready” condition in all training areas
Travel up to 20% of the time
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with space based product
3+ years of experience in Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, and/or Mechanical Engineering
1+ years of in teaching, coaching and developing others
Ability to travel 20%
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years experience with BDS process specifications
3+ years of experience working on BDS Products in a technical or instructor capacity
3+years of military experience building or repairing products
Typical Education & Experience:Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or related military experience.
