READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION
I am looking for a female CNA/Caregiver for a private in home care position working with a single 46 year old male C1/C2 level quadriplegic. This is a part-time overnight shift on the weekends needing to be filled. You will be allowed to sleep as long as you are not a deep sleeper. There typically is not a lot involved with these responsibilities.
-Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: dressing, trach care, wound care, peri care, bowel care, personal hygiene, "massaging" driving wheelchair vehicle, transferring to/from wheelchair, light cooking, light housekeeping, and various other activities and most importantly "being my hands".
-Manual transfer of approximately 100 lbs is a requirement as there are no assistive lifting devices used.
-Non smoker and non drinker is required.
-Must be in very good physical condition, strong back and lifting ability and clean cut (minimal visible tattoos and piercings).
-Must have reliable transportation.
-Must have current and proof of nursing license or certification.
-Background check will be performed.
-Attributes should include: LIGHT SLEEPER, hands on, open-minded, flexible, reliable, hard worker, STRONG, athletic, 5'5" or taller, >28 and <40, HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, positive and cheerful, hardworking (did I mention that already?), punctual (this is a personal pet peave), clean cut, articulate, problem solver, non excuse maker, people person, talkative, outgoing, willing to "go the extra mile" and common sense is also a must.
-Experience with quadriplegics is required
-This is a family environment with high standards and values.
-Starting pay is $30/hr.
- Hours are Saturday 7:00pm-9:00am Sunday and Sunday 8:00pm - 6:00am Monday
