Home health agency is looking to fill shifts for a 33-year-old male with Muscular Dystrophy who is in need of an overnight caregiver. Looking for a female caregiver or nurse who will perform the following duties:
- transfers to/from bed and power wheelchair (patient weighs 45lbs due to disability)
- repositioning throughout the night to avoid bed sores without waking patient or his wife
- assisting with bipap machine for sleep
- dressing/undressing
- teeth/hair care
-helping with food/drink orally
- assisting with Foley catheter bag or tube
Hours needed:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays from 9pm - 6am.
Ideal candidate must be female, able to safely lift 50lbs, fluent in English, punctual, reliable (including transportation), patient, professional, caring, hardworking and motivated.
