The company was started in 1989 and I have been a machinist (CNC and Manual) for over 45 years. It can be lucrative for the right people with the right mindset, desire and attitude. Experienced CNC machinists (2 needed) $30-$40 per hr.
With more strength on mills. This includes complete set-ups, program edits, troubleshooting, tool life management & producing good first articles. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Responsible to run production as well. Sometimes 2-3 machines depending on cycle times. We typically set jobs up to run multiple parts and create longer cycles to allow for the operation of multiple machines. We make small and very precision parts using a lot of smaller tools. Most of our tolerances are +-.0010 to +-.0030. Sometimes they are +-.0005 on individual features. Should have many of your own tools to perform said duties. Programming experience will enhance your pay rate.
CNC Apprentices (2 needed) $20 per hr. starting
Must have mechanical aptitude (test given) and take a genuine interest in learning the trade of fine CNC machining. We will bring up the right individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for non-college seeking high school graduates to learn a trade that can carry them through life without wasting your first 4-6 years in JC or college and incurring said debt.
Quality Control / Machined Parts Inspector. Experience a must (1 opening) $30-$32 per hr.
Must have a solid understanding of GD&T and know how to use a manual CMM and optical comparators as well as all hand measuring and gauge tools. Must be able to perform open set ups on the surface plate using height gauges and indicators. Must be motivated to help manage the quality of parts being machined out on the floor, complete all necessary forms / paperwork and communicate well with the rest of the team. Especially management and the machine operators. You will be responsible to make rounds through the shop all day long to assure that what is being produced is of the highest quality.
We have a clean, well organised operation. We work 4-10 hrs days.All of these positions require that you be at work on time everyday at 5:30 a.m. You will get off at 4:00 pm. daily and will have every Friday off. That is the day you can schedule your Dr appointments of just have a 3 day weekend. EVERY weekend….
Reviews for any of these positions will be offered after 60 days at which time your attendance, production and quality records will be evaluated.
Salary is based on experience.
