Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Experienced Moulder Operator for a long-standing wood manufacturing client located in Phoenix, AZ. This company produces custom wood doors and architectural components with precision craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operator who can independently set up, run, and maintain wood moulder machines to meet high
production and quality standards.
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Start Date: Pending background and drug screen
Key Responsibilities
Set Up & Operate: Independently set up, operate, and maintain moulder machines for consistent, high-quality output.
Precision Work: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate dimensions and profiles.
Quality Control: Inspect products throughout production using measuring tools to maintain exact tolerances.
Maintenance: Perform routine adjustments, knife changes, and preventative maintenance to ensure machine performance.
Production Efficiency: Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.
Documentation: Maintain logs of daily production and machine settings.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Moulder Operator in a woodworking or millwork manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to perform machine setups and knife changes with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of wood species, feed rates, and cutting tools.
Skilled in reading calipers, micrometers, and tape measures with precision.
Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality craftsmanship.
