Seeking a person to assist with the daily tasks of sorting and casing the mail. 1099-Contractor position.
Must reside in or near the service area for reliable reporting. Delivery vehicle provided.
5 days/week. Mondays required and days after federal holidays.
Sorting and separating parcels. Sort and case the mail.
Safely load the vehicle.
Driving the route to designated mailboxes and deliver packages as needed.
Adhere to all USPS/HCR rules & procedures, safety practices, and chain-of-custody standards.
Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a 5-year MVR report (clean driving history required).
Ability to pass a federal fingerprint background check
Physical ability: lift 50 lbs un-aided; stand for extended periods; stoop, kneel, reach overhead; frequent vehicle entry/exit.
Language: Proficient in English
Weather ready: work safely in extreme heat/cold, rain, and snow.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
