Description We are offering a role for a PC Technician in San Luis, Arizona, United States. This role is pivotal for our telecom provider, where you will be responsible for managing the city's laptop and mobile computers, handling software issues, and coordinating computer-based anti-virus software implementation. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. Manage the functionality of the city's laptop and mobile computers and provide user training as required. Handle day-to-day computer software OS and printer support issues, including product installation, upgrades, fixes, and troubleshooting. Track, monitor, and evaluate software patches, fixes, and service packs. Coordinate and manage vendor contracts for hardware maintenance and software applications. Implement, use, and train others on computer-based anti-virus software, ensuring the software is current and updated as needed. Monitor compliance with software copyright laws and conduct audits to ensure compliance. Train, advise, and assist personnel with technical problems related to computers, networks, wireless and technical systems, and associated software. Install, maintain/repair, program and test Telecom equipment, surveillance equipment, antennas, and peripherals. Coordinate and administer City telephone, equipment, and maintenance agreements. Coordinate and participate with other City departments and agencies on technology projects as required. Handle the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of certain network and client server connectivity hardware and software. Manage databases related to the tracking inventory of software and computer hardware and maintain computer software inventory.Skills: Proficiency in Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Microsoft, Networking, Operating System, Active Directory. Knowledge of Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments, Deskside Support. Requirements Must have knowledge and experience with Dell Technologies. Proficiency in EO/IR systems is required. Familiarity with Microsoft office Suite and other Microsoft products. Should have a strong understanding of Networking principles and practices. Expertise in various Operating Systems is essential. Experience with Active Directory management and configurations. Must have hands-on experience in Computer Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance. Proficiency in Configuration Management for maintaining system security and performance. Must be familiar with software and hardware Deployments. Deskside Support experience is a plus, including troubleshooting and user assistance.
