White Mountain Smiles in Show Low is a friendly, patient-centered dental practice focused on delivering high-quality care in a clean and welcoming environment. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Sterilization Technician is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of infection control and ensuring all instruments, equipment, and operatories are properly cleaned and prepared. This role also includes assisting with patient care and taking x-rays when needed.
Schedule:
3 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
Sterilize, disinfect, and maintain all dental instruments and equipment
Prepare and restock operatories between patients
Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols
Assist dental team members during procedures as needed
Take dental x-rays
Maintain an organized and efficient sterilization area
Qualifications:
Prior dental office or sterilization experience preferred, but we are willing to train
X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Excellent communication and time management skills
