Job Title: Associate, Materials Management Job Code: 19021 Job Location: Tempe, AZ Job Description: The Associate, Material Management is an entry-level professional responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials from receiving or the warehouse to production. This role requires a broad theoretical job knowledge and works under general direction within standard processes to manage raw material requirements and scheduling based on engineering specifications and production schedules. Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.

Develop and manage raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.

Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to ensure efficient material flow.

Negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery.

Comply with laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepare applications for export/import control certifications and licenses.

Qualifications:

Requires broad theoretical job knowledge. Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Understanding of supply chain and inventory control principles and best practices.

Ability to coordinate and manage raw material requirements and scheduling from engineering specifications and production schedules.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
