About the Gig
We’re a busy, casual restaurant looking for waitstaff who can carry plates, crack a smile, and survive the dinner rush without crying in the walk-in. Our guests are a mix of students, hard-working locals, and families who love good food and friendly service.
If you can balance a tray and a sense of humor at the same time, keep reading.
What You’ll Be Doing (Besides Getting Your Steps In)
Greet guests like you’re happy to see them… not like they just walked in at closing time
Take food and drink orders without inventing new menu items (unless they’re really good ideas)
Learn the menu well enough to answer “What’s good here?” without panicking
Run food, refill drinks, and check on tables before they have to do the awkward neck crane
Handle payments (cash, card, mobile) like a responsible adult
Keep your section clean, stocked, and not looking like a tornado hit it
Work with the kitchen and other staff to survive rush hour as a team
Follow basic food safety and cleanliness rules so nobody gets famous for the wrong reasons
You Might Be a Great Fit If…
You’re friendly, outgoing, and can talk to anyone (even the super-hungry ones)
You show up on time and ready to work (we love that for you)
You can stay calm when it’s busy and tickets are flying
You’re willing to learn the menu and follow simple systems
You’ve worked in restaurants or customer service before (nice to have, not required)
You’re available evenings and weekends (that’s when the fun happens)
(Optional: You’re 21+ and can legally serve alcohol, depending on local laws)
What’s In It for You
hourly pay + tips (aka: your personality bonus)
Part-time or full-time shifts
Flexible scheduling (we get that you have a life… or classes)
Employee meal discounts (yes, you get to eat the good stuff)
A team that has your back when it gets busy
