The OpportunityDelaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for an Accounting Specialist to join our team and help support Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. Our ideal candidate is an experienced accountant in the hospitality and/or food and beverage industries. You're an organized self-starter, skilled in inventory recording, preparing and analyzing general ledgers, and effective audit practices.This position will be on-site in Fish Camp, California.PayMinimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $66560 - $66560 / yearIn addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts, analyze and interpret variances.

Assist with month and year-end financial audits, month-end close journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial statement reviews.

Manage Accounts Receivables and prepare client invoices for group events.

Prepare and analyze monthly bank and account reconciliation.

Prepare and analyze general ledger accounts.

Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.

Reviews that all invoices,receiving paperwork, purchase orders, and required documents are properlyentered into the system for the weekly check runs.

Perform as a team member and assist fellow associates to ensure smooth and compliant operation.

Track Capex.

Responsible for BirchStreet inventory recording.

Qualifications

High school degree or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, preferred.

3+ years related experience in accounting or finance required.

Experience with internal control processes.

Skilled with computer programs such as Microsoft Office required. Excel Word, spreadsheets, e-mail, and record-keeping preferred.

PeopleSoft experience with respect to G/L preferred.

POS and Opera experience preferred.
