DescriptionTHE OPPORTUNITYThe Executive Director Admin Operations/Chief of Staff (CoS) will be a strategic operational leader with end-to-end responsibility for the business and administrative operations of the PCN function. The CoS will advise the EVP, PCN and PCN leadership team, serving as a trusted thought partner on major strategic considerations, coordinating and executing our strategic priorities, improving the team's capabilities and performance, and delivering on special project assignments. The incumbent will also be responsible for partnering to manage PEs medical group leadership forums, assist in creating content for leadership communications, and serve as a change agent and problem solver. The CoS must establish and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, caregivers, and vendors across the organization to foster success of our medical group strategies.The successful candidate is a resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and analytical skills, focused on the success of the team and organization. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes PSJH mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, the incumbent serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as an advisor and thought partner to the EVP, PCN and leadership team; partner to develop, articulate, and deliver an inspiring vision and future design for PCN.
Plan, participate and facilitate the senior leadership team forums for PCN.
Improve the function’s effectiveness by developing processes and forums that enable better execution, rhythm of the business, change management and communication, and effective meeting/process management.
Participate in the regional Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs) to review the strategy and operating performance and commitments of the ambulatory regional leaders.
Ensure effective budget management of the overarching PCN budget.
Think strategically to solve complex problems, drive decision making and accountability, and ensure aligned commitment in a highly matrixed and complex organization, helping the team get to the best possible solution effectively and efficiently.
Oversee critical strategic priorities and initiatives that are sponsored by the EVP, ensuring an integrated approach within PCN and with key partners across the organization; proactively identify, resolve, and elevate issues that may impact the successful execution of key strategies and initiatives.
Collaborate with PCN leadership team to drive an exceptional experience for caregivers, inclusive of intentional visibility and engagement, recognition, regular cadence of leadership communication
Attend meetings with or on behalf of the EVP in order to extend reach across the organization and with external audiences.
Prepare and facilitate for EVP led meetings: accountable for ensuring that the meeting objectives are defined and achievable, team member preparation is appropriate, and leadership is well-prepared to meet with internal or external stakeholders.
Lead through influence, working with team members across the organization.
Serve as the advocate and change agent where current processes do not support our needs
Lead Board Prep for Providence Medical Group Board and other sub-committees of the board as appropriate
Lead special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a master’s degree program in Health Administration or Business Administration, or Certificate in Healthcare Management preferred.
10 years business management and or leadership experience with strong strategy and operational background performing or managing complex projects to include experience in a healthcare environment recommended.

Understanding of the sensitivity and timing of changes and the ability communicate the complexity and weight of change that is coming. Need to understand the audience and gain buy-in.
