Bird Sorter- Plant 2 (Nights)

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour.(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am).Pre-Sorter - Pre-sort by removing birds from the line and condemning birds with defects/disease that do not meet quality criteria.Re-Hang Sorter - Perform re-hang function to ensure birds are hung properly and remove any birds with defects/disease that do not meet the quality criteria.Viscera Sorter - Examine the viscera and remove respective pack and bird that do not meet quality criteria.Carcass Sorter - Examine the bird carcass cavity and exterior and trim defects or remove any bird that does not meet the quality criteria to reroute for reprocessing. Final Trim - Perform trimming at the end of the processing line and remove for reprocessing any bird not meeting the quality criteria.Sharpen knife with steel.Don proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Other duties as assigned.
