Description We are in search of a Risk Manager to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be integral in managing the risks of our credit portfolio and enhancing our overall credit risk management program. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Strengthen and continuously improve the credit risk management program. Monitor individual loans for potential risks and take appropriate action. Manage the credit risk committee effectively. Maintain and update loan policies and procedures regularly. Evaluate underwriting and credit analysis processes to identify potential risks. Handle special assets management and allowance/provision for credit losses. Conduct risk identification and mitigation for credit approval recommendations. Utilize skills in financial analysis, credit administration, and banking regulations for efficient job performance. Act as 2LOD for all credit related risk and compliance issues Leverage tools such as Archer, Bloomberg Terminal, CobiT, Concur, and CRM for efficient performance of duties. Employ skills in Auditing, Capital Management, Claim Administration, Compliance, and Credit for effective job execution.Requirements Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in a risk management role Proficient in the use of Archer, Bloomberg Terminal, CobiT, and Concur preferred Demonstrated experience with CRM systems Proven skills in auditing, capital management, and claim administration Comprehensive understanding of compliance, credit, and credit risk management Ability to develop and manage credit risk models Experience in commercial banking, commercial lending, and commercial mortgage Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required; Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a team Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to respect and maintain confidential information Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
