If you have a passion to deliver purposeful service, we invite you to take your career to the next level by joining the high-performing Sales team at Hilton Los Angeles Airport.We are looking a Sales Manager to be part of the exceptional sales team!Hilton Los Angeles Airport is a full-service 1,234 room hotel with 55,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, 32 breakout rooms, and 5 food and beverage outlets, including 24/7 Bistro, in-room dining, and 24/7 airport shuttle services.Hilton Los Angeles Airport is the 2ndlargest hotel in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.In this role, you will oversee a sub-sect of the Corporate, SMERF and Government sectors for groups (10-75 on peak).The ideal candidate will be a creative team player with three (3) years of hotel sales experience, preferably within the LAX and/or Los Angeles full-service hotel sector.Want to learn more? Hotel Website & InstagramThe annual salary range for this role is $82,000-$92,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.What will I be doing?As a Sales Manager, you would be responsible for representing the hotel's services and facilities to prospective group business clients, third party meeting planners, and customers within the local and national market. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Demonstrate a mastery of the hotel sales process including lead generation, solicitation, negotiation, and closing techniques.

Responding to and qualifying leads from potential clients and current customers seeking sleeping rooms and/or food and beverage and hotel services, etc.

Represent hotel in all interactions dealing with existing and prospective customers relative to sales, including creating business proposals, determining rates, negotiating and executing contracts, and conducting successful site inspections through expert story telling.

Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals.

Execute and communicate a weekly action plan for a designated group market segment to successfully solicit potential clients.

Attend tradeshows/events which may involve travel within or outside the United States, dependent on assigned markets.

Collaborate and actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau, and Intermediaries, that results in growth of key accounts and new business.

Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts to drive customer loyalty and retention.

Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred

Minimum Years of Experience: Three (3) Years of Hotel Sales Experience with consistent track record of achieving annual production goals

Knowledge of hotel structure and how all departments interact.

· This role requires strong sales and networking skills.

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Experience in a similar role with a proven track record

Highly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills

· Ability to read and write in the English language to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, proposals, general correspondence, and similar written materials.

Ability to manage time, resources, and personnel effectively and productively.

Additional Requirements: Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Knowledge of the local LAX hotel market for group (10-75 or more on peak) for Corporate, Government, and SMERF including Religious self-contained group with banquet spend.

Affiliation with professional organizations with a tie to the travel industry

Full-service hotel experience

Proficiency in Delphi FDC
