Position Overview
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Assistant Manager / FOH Manager / Lead Server to help launch and lead our front-of-house operations. In this key leadership role, you’ll be directly responsible for managing the server team, including hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the server team during service, ensuring smooth and consistent operations
Recruit, hire, train, and schedule FOH staff (servers, hosts, support roles)
Create and maintain high service standards through coaching and ongoing team development
Set the tone for a hospitality-first culture, leading by example on the floor
Ensure all guests receive an exceptional and seamless dining experience
Maintain strong communication with the kitchen and bar teams
Support daily operations, including shift management, table management, and conflict resolution
Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback and training
Ensure all health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met or exceeded
Qualifications
2+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant
Strong background in staff management, training, and team development
Proven ability to lead by example while managing shift flow and guest interactions
Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sushi, and robata preferred (but not required)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Comfortable with technology for scheduling, POS, and training systems
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
