Hardware Store - Team Member - Customer Service
Employment type: Full-Time
Well established Hardware Store in Los Angeles looking for:
Customer Service Position
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Primary Job Requirements:
- Must have clean driving record and current drivers license.
- Must have excellent people skills.
- Must have good English speaking and writing skills.
- Must be able to handle 50# of weight daily.
- Must be able to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to climb stepladders and stairs to mezzanine.
- Must have High School education or equivalent.
- Must be computer literate
Primary Job Duties:
- Driving; making deliveries to customers, handling material with care.
- Helping In-Store customers with their material and purchase needs as a Customer Service Representative.
- Warehouse duties when not helping customers (stocking, cleaning etc).
- Perform other duties as required and directed by Store Manager.
This job will be a split-function job. Part of the day will be spent driving, part of the day will be spent in store as a sales associate.
- Must have friendly attitude.
- Must have good English speaking and writing skills, and basic knowledge of math.
- Must be able to handle 75# of weight occasionally.
- Physical Demands: Standing, Walking, Kneeling, Bending, Lifting (up to 75lbs) and Climbing stepladders and stairs to mezzanine
- Must have High School education or equivalent.

Bilingual - Spanish preferred but not required
Any experience with hardware, construction, electrical, plumbing, paint, or warehousing a benefit but not required.
