Seeking a detailed-oriented Office Assistant to support a small, fast-paced tax practice, some tax office experience is a plus. Ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working directly working with clients and confidential information.
Assist with day-to-day office operations: phones, e-mails, scheduling, scanning, filing, mail handling and front desk support.
Duties: Greet clients, answering phones and responding to e-mails in a professional, courteous manner. Scheduling and confirm appointments, and manage the calendar during busy season. Handle incoming and outgoing mail. Help assemble individual tax returns. Maintain electronic and paper client files, monitor deadlines for extensions and filings.
Qualifications: Prior office experience required. Comfortable with Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and stay calm during peak season.
