Saywitz Properties is looking for an Onsite Resident Manager for one of our apartment communities located in La Quinta, CA. The La Quinta Townhomes apartment complex consists of 34 apartment homes, both townhouse and cottage style units. The property is located near Old Town La Quinta at Eisenhower and Calle Tampico and across the street from an Elementary school and within close proximity of retail shops, and the La Quinta fitness center. The property is security gated, has a 24-hour security system, covered parking and onsite laundry facilities for the residents.

The resident manager unit is a 2-Story, 2-Bedroom Townhouse unit, which is being completely remodeled. We are looking for an Onsite Resident Manager who would live at the property, occupy the managers unit, and assist with maintaining the properties. The managers’ unit will have new flooring, new paint, new blinds, new appliances, and new hardware. The normal rent for this unit is $2,295 per month. The Onsite Manager will receive a rent discount in the amount of $650 per month, and therefore, the rent would be $1,645 per month after the discount is applied. The unit will be available for move-in between November 15th and December 1st. Onsite Resident Manager can earn additional income in the form of leasing commissions from $100 to $300 per unit for assisting in the renting of empty units as they come due, in addition to the rental discount.
The duties for the Onsite Resident Manager will include the following:
1. Reside at the property and provide general oversight on a day-to-day basis.
2. Assist in the showing of vacant units and renting of apartments as they come due.
3. Ensure the property is kept in a secure and clean condition, keeping gates closed, trash dumpster area, clean, oversight of the laundry facilities, and the pool area.
4. Distribute notices at the property including notices of inspection, 3-day notices to pay or quit, or other tenant information notices.
5. Address any minor social issues or parking issues at the property which may arise.
6. Coordinate with the Property Management Supervisor for any other issues which may come due.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has additional income and is looking to supplement their income. No previous property management experience is necessary; however, it is preferred. We are looking for conscientious, loyal and dependable people. Spanish speaking is not required but is preferred.
