JOSHUA TREE HUMMER TOUR GUIDE WANTED
We are Adventure Hummer Tours and offer 5 star desert tours aboard the best fleet of Hummers in California.
We need someone in the Palm Springs or Palm Desert area who is willing to train with us. Our tours go to Joshua Tree National Park every day. These tours DO NOT go off-road and simply enter/exit the West Entrance. Your touring vehicles include both open-air Hummers, vans and an H-2 enclosed Hummer.
We operate the original H1 Hummer Class of a military vehicles
We are looking for a driver available for tours Thursday to Saturday with growth into a full-time permanent part of our elite driver staff.
GREAT PART TIME EARNINGS
We pay $20 to $25/hour plus tips based on experience.
Gratuities are always generous as vehicles seat 9 passengers.
TOP DRIVERS make over $100/ day in TIPS.
TERMS
After acceptance of your resume and a phone interview, a successful candidate must:
1.) Attend 5 training tours @ $50 per tour in a 2 week period.
2.) Conduct one successful supervised tour for final offer for employment.
3.) Take a pre-employment drug test
4.) A DMV driver history printout
5.) CPR and First Aid Certs (Online)
6.) Get a Wilderness Guide Permit with Joshua Tree (Easy to do.)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR (in order of importance)
1.) Someone with great social skills.
2.) A person who LOVES LIFE and GETS the fact that we want to take people AWAY from the city and find themselves in natural splendor that is magical.
3.) Knowledge and possible tour guide experience.
- Knowledge of Joshua Tree National Park is important.
- Open to honing down your knowledge in mandatory classes we will pay for.
4.) Flexible schedule - we can work with your present schedule but are prioritizing anyone available on the weekends.
5.) Can work in the heat in the Summer. We operate enclosed vans and H2 Hummers during inclement weather.
6.) You must be in TOP PHYSICAL SHAPE. This is a job that requires endurance and the health that radiates from self respect, healthy diet and mental attitude. You are a symbol of a company dedicated to excellence in life choices and education.
7.) Willing to enroll in our random drug testing program and train to qualify as a Wilderness Guide with the Park.
