California, Sacramento
Aplica ya

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Shift: 8:30AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

We are a busy local print and mail production facility, located in West Sacramento seeking a dependable and organized Shipping & Fulfillment Associate to join our production team. This role is responsible for packaging, labeling, and shipping completed print jobs while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping operations, hands-on experience with major shipping software platforms (such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, USPS and third-party logistics tools), and the ability to maintain detailed and accurate records while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare, package, and label finished print jobs for shipment or delivery, ensuring all materials are protected and professionally presented.

- Use UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, USPS postage tools, and other shipping software to generate labels, calculate rates, select services, and track shipments.

- Verify orders against job tickets and packing slips to ensure all items, quantities, and documentation are accurate before shipping.

- Coordinate with internal departments (production, mailing, bindery) to confirm job completion, shipping requirements, and delivery timelines.

- Load, unload, and move materials using pallet jacks or hand trucks; assist drivers and manage daily inbound/outbound carrier pickups.

- Interact professionally with customers, couriers, and delivery drivers; ensure accurate and efficient order hand-offs.

- Monitor, restock, and organize shipping supplies (boxes, labels, tape, pallets, void fill, etc.).

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and safety standards.

- Assist with inventory management, warehouse organization, and occasional local deliveries as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience using shipping systems and logistics software such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, ShipStation, or similar platforms.

- Solid understanding of carrier requirements, dimensional weight, freight classifications, and packing standards.

- Experience in shipping, fulfillment, or warehouse operations—background in printing or manufacturing a plus but not required.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow order specifications and quality standards.

- Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to lift and move 50–75 lbs and stand for extended periods.

- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Why This Role Might Be Right for You:

You’re someone who takes pride in precision and efficiency—getting every package out the door on time, correctly labeled, and ready to impress the customer. You enjoy working with shipping systems, keeping things organized, and supporting a team that depends on your accuracy. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoy a hands-on role where every shipment matters, this could be a great fit for you.
