Peebles Bergin Schulte & Robinson LLP, a leader in representing Indian tribes and tribally owned entities, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced paralegal to join our Sacramento office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong background in legal research, document preparation, and case management.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.
Manage case files and ensure all documents are organized and up to date.
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Westlaw, PACER, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
