Work closely with program staff, VCC personnel, and community partners, focusing on delivering comprehensive support to students to ensure their success and well-being throughout their educational and professional journey.Provide direct information and guidance to students regarding program requirements, academic policies, and support services availableOffer individualized support to address the diverse needs of students, including academic advising, counseling, and resource navigationConduct comprehensive outreach efforts to engage prospective students and recruit individuals to participate in the programInterview all Medical Assistant Training Program candidatesConduct basic assessments and screenings of potential students to evaluate their eligibility and readiness for enrollment in the programResponsible for the coordination of internship and externship placementsQualificationsMinimum QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in community health or educational support services, or educationValid California driver's license and vehicle insurance; reliable transportation, to travel for meetings and/or to gather information for reporting purposes; minimum two years' driving experience; no more than 2 violations or a single ticket/accident value at more than 1 point on driving recordRequired to work flexible hours, including evenings and SaturdaysPreferred Qualifications Associate's degree in related field Experience in educational support programs or services, particularly in vocational training or higher education settings Pay Range$21.00 - $23.00PI240978102 Apply
