Job Title: Brick Layer/TenderPay Rate: $30-40Job DescriptionInstall CMU units, block units, 50-60ft high. Measure distances from reference points and mark guidelines on working surfaces to lay out work as required by construction drawings. Establish a layout to maintain uniform mortar bed joints to reach a certain height with a full masonry unit. Spread soft bed mortar that serves as base (bed Joint) and binder for the masonry units and add the vertical cross joint between units. Maintain a uniform bond on each course of units and lay out the length to maintain either a full or half unit at the door or window jambs or end of the wall and maintain vertical and horizontal alignment of courses. Maintain a clean face on the inside or outside of the wall that will remain exposed. Use the appropriate jointing tool to finish the exposed bed and cross joints.
