Location: Oken, 6200 Claremont Ave, Oakland, CA (Rockridge)
Job Type: Part‑time / Full‑time (depending on availability)

Job Description / Key Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests, present menus, and answer questions with knowledge and enthusiasm
Take food & beverage orders accurately, and enter them into the POS
Deliver food & drinks to tables, check in with guests, and address any issues promptly
Process payments (cash, credit, etc.)
Assist with table setup, side work, and cleanup
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area
Work collaboratively with kitchen, and other front-of-house staff
Be familiar with the menu, ingredients, dietary restrictions, wine/beer/soju, and beverage pairings
Requirements / Qualifications
Previous server experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable standing/walking for long periods; ability to carry trays / lift up to 25 lbs
Valid California Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain
Knowledge or willingness to learn about Korean & Japanese cuisine, beverages, and cultural dining expectations
Flexible schedule — nights, weekends, and possibly holidays
