Job Description: Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain)TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Will work under general supervision to initiate, lead, plan, implement, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure quality through testing and validation activities. The Electrical Engineer shall perform, but not limited to: Support facility project management activities throughout the life of a project Support the start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and design of electrical systems Demonstrate knowledge of AC/DC electronic theory and interests in (or knowledge of) electrical systems found in buildings. Knowledge areas include single, three-phase, and DC power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, grounding, HVAC control, and life safety systems. Interests in (or knowledge of) reliability availability and concurrent maintainability (RAM) of electrical facilities. Interests in (or knowledge of) coordination activities with the operation, maintenance, and electrical trade representatives. Activities will include the development of procedures for standby power generation and transfers and control of HVAC systems such as chillers and cooling towers. Ability to learn SKM power simulation and analysis software and familiarize yourself with IEEE recommendations. Be responsible for facility electrical, and electrical control systems Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs; assist in the coordinate of manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, NFPA codes, UFC, and customer requirements Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications. Calculations include conduit and cable sizing and panel schedules Oversee and coordinate operations, maintenance, repair, and inspections of electrical equipment Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical system-related activities. Use design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models Coordinate activities with architecture, engineering, construction, and space planning efforts, and all customers; be able to coordinate operations, maintenance, repair, inspections for all equipment Coordinate activities with trade shops, including Work Requests and recap projects Be interested in data center and UPS operation Other duties as assignedSalary Range: $85,000 to $105,000#IntelJob ID: 145593BRCity: AuroraState: ColoradoCountry: United StatesWe are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
