Position Summary 
The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for executing general ledger functions and accounting activities for Aspen One in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).  This role reports directly to the Assistant Corporate Controller and works closely with the Corporate Controller and Accounting Manager to ensure financial accuracy, compliance with company policies, and consistency with Aspen One’s broader accounting standards and strategic objectives.The budgeted salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus. Job Posting Deadline Applications for this position will be accepted until October 31, 2025. Essential Job FunctionsPrepare and post month-end journal entries, including reclass adjustments, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other required entriesPerform detailed monthly review and reconciliation of various balance sheet accountsPartner with the Finance team on capital projects, including fixed asset setup at project completionReview monthly profit and loss financial statements; research and resolve discrepanciesProvide accounting support to Aspen One managers and team members on transaction details, accounting issues, and discrepanciesPresent accounting analysis and issue resolution through data review and mathematical solutionsCommunicate effectively through clear and professional written correspondence, primarily via emailPerform additional duties and special projects as assigned
