Front Range Staffing is seeking a 2nd Shift MIG Welder/Saw Operator with 1+ years’ experience for a growing machine shop on the North-West side of Colorado Springs to start ASAP!
The 2nd Shift hours are 4pm to 2:45am, Monday -Thursday. Must be available to work 1st shift during initial training. Pay starts at $19 to $22 an hour, depending on experience. $1 Shift differential will be applied when moving to the 2nd Shift Schedule.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
1+ years of Saw Operator and MIG welding experience preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Cut and prepare metal parts by using saws, plasma cutters, or torches, based on blueprint specifications
Perform welding tasks according to specifications and ability to interrupt blueprints.
Set up welding equipment and ensure proper settings for each job.
Complete inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Strong math skills, measuring units by fractions and decimals
Experience receiving and moving materials with a forklift.
Assist in completing physical inventory checks to ensure proper amount of materials.
