TradeForce Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Skid Steer Operator who are interested in working on a 1-2 month long solar installation project located in Johnstown, CO.
Project Information:
Location: Johnstown, CO
Start Date: 10/28/25
Hours: 50 per week – day shift
Project Duration: 1-2 months
Pay Rate:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate/maneuver heavy dirt equipment on construction sites in a safe and effective manner, including but not limited to dozer, roller, backhoe, excavator, and motor grader.
Equipment Daily checks to ensure equipment functions properly and safely.
Safely load and unload materials
Recognize hazards and danger zones
Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored when not in use.
Coordinate with crew members in response to hand and/or audio signals.
Qualifications:
Prior experience on solar, commercial, or civil construction projects operating construction equipment
Thorough knowledge of equipment and safety processes used in large construction sites
Demonstrate capability and competence
Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold)
Work requires exposure to construction site environments having extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous substances, and loud noise levels
The position requires the individual to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces throughout the day
The position requires the unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception
