Construction Laborer
Innovative Design & Renovations Inc is an All-Phase General Contracting Construction Company, Specializing in New Construction both Residential and Commercial, Additions, & Interior & Exterior Remodels. IDR Inc. serves La Plata, Archuleta & Montezuma County areas.
IDR Inc. has two full-time construction / carpentry crews with a guaranteed 40hrs a week.
We are currently looking to expand our team with highly motivated individuals with a passion for construction or looking to get into the construction trade.
The duties and responsibilities of a construction laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project and co-workers. The list of duties and responsibilities for a Construction Laborer / Carpenter Apprentice on any given day may include but are not limited to the following:
Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
Assisting in the demolition of existing structures, kitchens, bathrooms, decks etc.
Interior protection prior to start of project and clean up
Operation of cordless, electrical power & hand tools.
Following instructions from supervisors and implementing company safety & construction plans.
Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
All candidates must have a clean driving record, be trustworthy with a positive attitude.
