Job Description:
Looking for highly experienced COMMERCIAL metal framing/drywall/acoustical ceiling foreman. Experience with commercial stick framing experience is a plus. Only candidates with commercial experience with a minimum of 5 years will be considered. References required. The position will begin in a couple months and be located in Grand Junction, Colorado. Candidates with the ability to recruit and retain experienced crews will be prioritized as we develop and build the premier Western Slope drywall and framing service.
Experience and Skills Required:
Experienced in leading projects (Experienced Foreman) Carpenters and Finishers.
Must be able to take orders from a supervisor and then be able to manage a 10 to 15 man crew.
Must have knowledge of layout, metal framing/drywall hanging, finishing, and acoustical grid and tile.
Understand and apply construction methods and job-site safety (OSHA)
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, changing environment
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors and clients.
Proficient in blue prints (read and understand)
Ability to obtain maximum production
Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
Detail oriented and dependable
Be able to pass drug and criminal background check
Be able to speak and understand ENGLISH
BILINGUAL IS A PLUS
Valid taxpayer number and photo ID or Driver License
Have your own reliable transportation (truck)
Reliable tools are required.
Must be willing to travel within the state of Colorado and across the Western Slope.
Basic computer skills and software programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
Certifications a plus
