Evendale-based is preferred with CT and MA-based as optional. You will be responsible for defining and managing system requirements that pertain to supplier-designed electrical hardware, starting from initial concept through design, development, and validation and culminating in a product vision. Most of this electrical hardware is low voltage; focused on electronics, sensors, and motors. The position requires you to execute system and component analyses, coordinate within a multi-disciplinary team, integrate the system with the engine and airframe, and validate the design through testing.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
Functionally manage a multiple-disciplinary team which is both domestic and global, and both GE-badged and non-GE badged
Communicate and present key trade studies and decisions to technical and program leadership
Guide and mentor less experienced engineering team members
Meet customer deliverables with quality and punctuality
Manage multiple program deliverables, including creating schedules and managing to those schedules in close coordination with JV partners
Integrate multiple engine systems and technologies
Execute design trade studies, balancing engine deliverables and schedule
Identify suppliers and partners required to meet engine deliverables
Provide regular updates to technical leadership including through design reviews, design guidance efforts, and programmatic reviews
Apply established program management skills utilizing lean tools
This role requires applicants to be strong both technically and programmatically
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering

Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to document, plan, and execute projects
Flexible, friendly, and collaborative approach to working within hybrid on- and off-site teams

Ability to work within cross-functional teams to ensure the task is completed on time
