Description CONTACT: SALVATORE.ZAPPULLA@ROBERTHALF.Our client is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in WALLINGFORD, Connecticut. In this role, you will be tasked with managing various accounting operations, utilizing advanced Excel and ERP systems, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial records.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations Employ advanced Excel skills to create financial models and reports Utilize AI and ERP systems, such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP, in managing and analyzing financial data Execute general ledger tasks and journal entries Handle the month-end close process independently Ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory adjustments Carry out tasks related to small manufacturing accounting Conduct research and problem-solving for any discrepancies in inventory and cost adjustments.CONTACT: SALVATORE.ZAPPULLA@ROBERTHALF.Requirements Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accountant role in manufacturing or similar. Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. Strong understanding of General Ledger and Journal Entries. Expertise in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with month-end close procedures. Knowledge and experience using NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting software. Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good analytical skills and attention to detail. Must be capable of handling confidential information responsibly.
