Maintenance Director

Reports ToThe Maintenance Director will report to the Executive Director.  The Maintenance Director position is an exempt, salaried position.Job Overview:  Full-Time ExemptSalary: $75,000 - $85,000 YearlyPlanning, organizing, developing, and directing the general operating maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the community.  Maintains the community to be a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.Responsibilities and DutiesRecruits, interviews, hires, and provides orientation for housekeeping staffDevelops housekeeping schedule, ensures daily tasks are completedPerforms general maintenance work (light electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.)Able to operate and maintain HVAC equipmentConducts daily inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment to determine necessary maintenance and repairsConducts and oversees emergency drillsConducts safety tour to new associatesMaintains the Emergency Preparedness Plan, trains associates on the EPPSecures vendor contracts for all community systemsMaintains on-call status in the event of emergenciesAssist with evacuating residents in the event of an emergencyOccasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty
