Do you prioritize on-time delivery and uphold the highest standards of product quality? ASSA ABLOY is looking to add a Warehouse Supervisor to our team! This position will be based onsite out of our newly established regional manufacturing facility or Coastal Southeast Service Center based in Orlando, Florida. What would you do as our Warehouse Supervisor? This individual will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for coordinating the daily functions of the concentrated areas. In this hands-on role, you will work as a liaison between Front End, Traffic Supervisor and Operations Manager. This position will be responsible for chasing orders to ensure the timely completion for delivery as well as supervise the shipping and receiving personnel. You would also: · Collaborate with the Operations Manager on daily decision-making. · Assist in setting and achieving strategic goals and objectives for the department. · Manage orders for picking and loading, ensuring timely fulfillment. · Supervise shipping, receiving, and personnel handling steel and parts. · Maintain inventory accuracy through periodic cycle counts. · Oversee storage and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency. · Facilitate smooth shift transitions and act as a liaison between shifts. · Coordinate orders to meet loading and delivery schedules. · Work closely with the finance team to conduct year-end physical inventory. · Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on forklifts. · Manage rack space and ensure rack safety through regular inspections. · Monitor stock positions, buyouts, and inventory levels. · Coordinate daily with Customer Service Representatives (CSR). · Provide direction and training to team members as needed. What we are looking for: · High school diploma or GED required. · Previous leadership experience in a warehouse setting. · Preferred experience with forklift operation and warehousing practices. · Proficient in reading and writing legibly. · Ability to analyze orders effectively. · Strong communication skills to direct and interact with employees. · Solid understanding of mathematics for inventory management. · Capable of working independently and taking initiative. · Physically capable of standing and walking throughout shifts. · Demonstrates strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills. · Thrives in a team-oriented environment focused on achieving collective goals.
