Job Description: Office Manager (Remote)

Overview: HandyMangum, a growing handyman company specializing in home and business maintenance, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting our field crew and customers. While primarily remote, this position requires occasional in-office presence. Candidates must reside in the Central Florida area.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
Answer and manage incoming calls from customers, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing information about services.
Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely follow-up.
Scheduling and Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate jobs for the crew.
Manage the daily and weekly schedules, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes or emergencies.
Administrative Duties:
Perform general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Manage office correspondence, including emails and mail.
Financial Management:
Utilize QuickBooks for invoicing, tracking expenses, and managing accounts payable/receivable.
Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting.
Office Management:
Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, or similar role.
Experience in the home repair/construction industry is a must.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other office software (e.g., MS Office).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
High level of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work remotely while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
Willingness to travel to the office as needed.
Must reside in the Central Florida area.
