"We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some understanding of Spanish (not required), ensuring effective communication across our diverse workforce. This role is essential to maintaining the optimal performance and safety of all production and building equipment within our facility.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on all production and building equipment.
Requisition necessary parts and supplies to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.
Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment according to established safety procedures.
Diagnose mechanical issues and execute appropriate repairs and adjustments as needed.
Ensure all maintenance and repairs are completed in a safe and timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of machine production, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Report directly to the Plant Manager regarding equipment status and maintenance needs.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance and repair of production and building equipment.
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to equipment maintenance.
Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training preferred.
Compensation
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. After 3 months, a bonus structure will be discussed.
Reporting Structure
The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Plant/Production Manager and/or Director of Operations and/or President."
