Satori is a farm-to-table sushi truck in Makawao focused on local fish and fresh, high-quality ingredients. We’re expanding hours and looking to hire a part-time team member.
Pay averages $300–$400 per full shift (including tips). Half-day shifts also available.
This is a solo position in the truck, so it’s best for someone with both FOH and BOH experience who can work efficiently, stay organized, and keep up in a busy environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong knife skills and fast prep ability
Communicates well and handles pressure with grace
Has a clean, grounded, healthy lifestyle (sober mindset preferred)
Is reliable, punctual, and planning to stay on island
Can follow recipes exactly and clean a kitchen thoroughly
Takes pride in doing quality work solo and setting up others for success
Has food service experience and references
Has reliable transportation and phone access
Bonus if you:
Have experience plating sushi
Thrive in fast-paced service environments
Want to grow with a small, values-based business
