Looking for a part-time to full time, landscaper with at least some experience in maintenance, plant instal, and irrigation.
We are a small that does high quality landscape installs, design services, low voltage lighting, semi regular maintenance, and regular yard upkeep.
Currently work is flexible (depending on schedules) 2-4 days a week, with occasional larger projects requiring 5 day work weeks.
Most work is in Honolulu between Nuuanu and Kahala, however we have a few clients on North Shore and West side of the island (travel compensation for far projects)
Compensation dependent on skills: $18-$23+ an hour starting rate.
Job details:
Handle regular maintenance — mowing, trimming, cleanups, checking irrigation, and keeping plants healthy
Notice and fix issues before they become problems
Fertilize and poison application
Good with client communication and identifying their needs
Skilled with machine operation (preferred) but happy to train we use, skidsteers, ditchwhich, and excavators
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to identify up sale/valuable added opportunities
Work independently and take pride in creating and keeping properties looking great
Requirements:
Valid Hawai‘i driver’s license
Must be able to pass background and drug test (marijuana use is not a problem)
Experience with landscape maintenance and plant care
Reliable, friendly, motivated, and detail-minded
Able to work alone and manage time well
Pay:
Part time to Full time 2-4 days a week with more work during bigger projects
