Seeking Landscape Project Crew Leaders ($40/hour) and Crew Members ($30/hour) on West Maui primarily in Kapalua.
We are seeking reliable Crew Leaders and Crew Members for landscaping projects on an as-needed basis to begin. We are actively securing new projects and expanding our workload, with the aim of building a dedicated team and offering full-time positions in the near future.
This position involves physically demanding work in outdoor environments, requiring strength, stamina, and the ability to handle strenuous tasks safely.
Potential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lifting and carrying heavy materials, such as rocks, gravel bags, soil-filled wheelbarrows, and buckets of green waste or soil
Kneeling or working on hands and knees to install weed barriers
Safely operating equipment like pole saws, weed trimmers, tillers, and trenchers
Driving vehicles (personal or company-provided) for transport
Hauling and distributing materials
Maintaining and repairing irrigation systems
Planting new vegetation
Extracting roots and tree stumps
Using chainsaws and other power tools
Performing routine equipment maintenance, such as blade replacements
PLEASE NOTE - For safety reasons, given the inherent risks of this work, we maintain a strict smoke-free and drug-free environment. Any indication of violation will result in immediate separation, with compensation provided for hours worked.
Compensation is handled promptly at the end of each week for work completed during that period. For example, hours worked from Monday through Sunday would typically be paid the following Friday.
Interested candidates should have a valid driver's license if vehicle operation is involved and be prepared to adhere to all applicable safety standards.
