Join us at razorfish.com .Job DescriptionThe Associate Director, Business Development is responsible assisting with sales and marketing activities of the agency and implementation of the business development plan, which includes: prospecting, lead generation and qualification, presentation development and follow-up. Will also be an internal connector between all North American offices to make sure opportunities are properly distributed.Will ensure that our new business database is up-to-date and properly set up with notes including Razorfish employees with past connections to prospects.Primary Responsibilities
Develops/updates new sales collateral along with marketing team.
Generate and handle inquires, manage pitches, and on-board new clients.
Serve as the first point of contact for all clients and partners.
Manage and attend meetings and pitches to asses chemistry fit.
Provides direct marketing to new business prospects.
Builds relationships between agency and key prospects.
Coordinates presentation/pitch approaches.
Works to build prospects/contacts through attending events and mining databases.
Develops and maintains a prime prospect/contact list.
Manages/keeps regular contact with companies on the prospect list.
Organizes, directs and makes physical arrangements for presentations.
Coordinate and drive new business activities from start to finish.
Complete RFPs and RFIs
Prepare and Circulate Periodic New Business Status and Meeting Reports
Qualifications
Successful track record (at least 8 years) of building business for a digital agency, marketing transformation or digital business transformation consultancy
Must have experience with multi-nationals and global brands with complex marketing needs that could require global/local alignment and collaboration
Ability to speak to all levels of prospective clients: strategic and tactical decision makers
Proven experience in the pitch/BD process
Best of the best writing and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with C-level digital marketing or marketing transformation executives
Ability to reach across the cross-functional aisles and the various capability groups across the organization in order to drive more wins
Ability to understand macro business issues and articulate value generating opportunities supported Razorfish capabilities

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
