The Global Account Director – New Business is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new customer opportunities for QAD Redzone. This role focuses on generating pipeline, driving new sales, and establishing long-term relationships with prospective clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with Customer Success, Implementation & Coaching, Product, and executive stakeholders to demonstrate the value of Redzone solutions and secure new business.This is a Full-Time, Exempt, Remote role, requiring up to 60% travel to meet with prospects and attend industry events.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development & Sales GrowthIdentify and target prospective accounts across manufacturing with a focus on consumer goods and industrial sectors. Focus accounts will be multi-national organizations with a global footprint. Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure. Responsible for new logo acquisition and, subsequently, expanding/ upselling accounts.Consistently achieve or exceed new business targets and revenue quotas.Develop account strategies to penetrate new regions, plants, or verticals.Customer & Market EngagementBuild trusted advisor relationships with executive and operational leaders at prospective organizations. Interactions are typically with C-level and VP level executives; which can include large decision making teams.Understand client business objectives and align Redzone solutions to address operational challenges.Serve as the voice of the customer to internal teams, influencing product, services, and go-to-market strategies.Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to best advise on where solutions will be most valuable
 Collaboration & EnablementPartner with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services to design value-driven proposals.Work with Marketing to generate leads, secure case studies, and showcase success stories.Provide market insights and accurate sales forecasting to leadership.Attend training workshops, meetings, and events to increase professional learning and development and foster team camaraderie.
