Busy Construction Company in Chicago is seeking an experienced estimating assistant to bid sewer/water and excavation for commercial projects.
Field experience is a must. Knowledge of City of Chicago rules/regulations/permitting is a plus.
Duties will include reviewing specs and plans, doing accurate take-offs and obtaining pricing from suppliers, preparing proposals and negotiating bids with GC, ordering materials for awarded projects.
