Job Title: Transportation Structural Department ManagerJob Description
Responsibility for the operational management and oversight of the bridge group including project delivery, staffing, quality, utilization, workload forecasting, work-sharing, safety, morale, recruiting, performance reviews, marketing support, and the general direction of the group to ensure operating plan expectations are met.
Maintain up to date and accurate workload and utilization forecasting using company provided staff management tools.
Assist in development of marketing strategies, written proposals, and innovative concepts for new business pursuits.
Lead and motivate the staff in the group to strive to meet the goals of the Practice.
Perform client management, project management and/or technical support activities.
Familiarity with all phases of Project Development from planning and studies, through final design, and into construction and operation.
Experience with the design of multiple bridge types in concrete and steel, wall systems, and minor structures.
Design experience with the person, AISC, ACI, and other North American design codes and standards.

Proficiency in MathCAD, STAAD Pro, LPILE, LEAP Bridge software, MDX, Bentley/MicroStation products, Midas, LARSA 4D, or other equivalent engineering standard bridge software
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
Experience with commonly used structural engineering software
Experience with CADD drawing platforms
Experience with file management frameworks
