Accounting Specialist

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist to join our team in Brownsburg, Indiana, 46112, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including processing accounts payable transactions, conducting account reconciliation, and assisting with the annual audit. Responsibilities: Efficiently handle accounts payable transactions Regularly perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of all balances Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounting Provide necessary support during the annual audit process Take part in special projects and tasks as directed Monitor and ensure accuracy in invoice processing Use software like Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for various tasks Perform full cycle payroll duties Maintain customer credit records and perform check runs.Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must, including monitoring payments and expenditures. Ability to conduct Check Runs in an organized and timely manner. Expertise in Coding Invoices, categorizing them for accounting purposes. Strong Data Entry skills, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of information. Proficiency in Invoice Processing, including validation, recording and payment. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets, data analysis and financial reporting.
