Industrial Equipment Service & Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary: The Industrial Equipment Service & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment. This role requires a strong electrical background with complementary mechanical skills to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and systems. The work will take place either on client’s sites covering all the Americas, or in the business works. Experience in Aluminum cast houses or the steel industry is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in machinery.Install and commission new equipment and systems.Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.Collaborate with the engineering team to improve equipment performance and reliability.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Provide technical support and training to operators and other staff.Dimensions: Reporting to the Operations ManagerWorking closely and maintain a strong relationship with all Altek departments US & UK.Customer facing role working closely with clients to support their needs.Key Working Relationships: Internally Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical & Process)Internally the Production/ Works manager and shop floor managers/ supervisors.Internally HSEInternally QualityInternal and External site service personnel.Externally all customers direct or indirect.
