We are seeking a Workload Planner / Dispatcher to join our growing team and serve as the heartbeat of our operations, ensuring drivers, routes, and schedules align seamlessly to deliver on-time, every time. In this role, you will plan, assign, and monitor daily workloads for drivers and routes, coordinate deliveries with precision and efficiency, and communicate clearly with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Route Planning & Scheduling: Develop and assign daily delivery routes for drivers, ensuring optimal efficiency and timeliness.
- Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact between drivers, warehouse staff, and clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Customer Service Support: Provide proactive updates to clients regarding delivery status and address inquiries with professionalism.
- Assisting the Operations Manager and the leadership team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in, or be willing to learn, dispatching, workload planning, or logistics coordination, along with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, excellent communication and multitasking abilities, and familiarity with transportation management systems is a plus.
This position is available for advancement within 3 to 6 months, starting pay is $18.00/hour with a guaranteed 40 hour work week.
